Job Description

Collective Ingenuity Renewable (Phils.) Corporation is looking for an experienced and independent Accounting Officer to handle the Company’s accounting operations, financial records, monthly reporting, and compliance requirements.

The role will handle full-set accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting, and will coordinate with the Tax and Treasury Officer on tax and statutory compliance matters.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently, manage deadlines, and provide accurate financial information to Management and HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Company’s day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain complete and accurate accounting records.
• Handle full-set accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including the Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement/Profit and Loss Statement, General Ledger, Subsidiary Ledgers, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules required by Management and HQ.
• Reconcile peso and foreign-currency bank accounts, intercompany accounts, related-party balances, receivables, payables, and other balance sheet accounts, and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents needed for financial reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Process payroll based on HR-approved employee data and record payroll expenses, liabilities, and statutory deductions.
• Monitor cash, bank, and treasury-related accounting transactions in coordination with the Tax and Treasury Officer.
• Review and monitor BIR and other statutory compliance requirements in coordination with the Tax and Treasury Officer.
• Prepare accounting records and supporting schedules required for SEC, LGU, audit, and other regulatory requirements, including support for corporate filings such as the GIS.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Provide accurate financial information to support Management’s decisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and government offices when required.
• Maintain proper accounting procedures, internal controls, and organized financial records.
• Perform other accounting-related duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; 3–5 years is preferred.
• Experience handling full-set accounting independently.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Philippine BIR, SEC, LGU, and other statutory requirements.
• Experience with payroll, tax compliance support, bank reconciliation, and audit coordination.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or similar systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong English comprehension and business communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand accounting instructions, conditions, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.

Preferred: CPA license and experience in a growing or project-based company are an advantage.
