Accountant

Johnson & Johnson seeks an Accountant for its Global Services Finance team in Manila to support financial operations across operating companies worldwide. The role involves managing balance sheet and income statement accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements within a multinational shared services environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute timely financial period closings and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with SLA commitments and compliance requirements
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals reported within assigned process and entity scope
- Support process improvements and continuous efficiency initiatives aligned with global standards
- Support auditors, legal authorities, and internal controls to achieve adequate audit ratings
- Provide on-the-job training to new team members and maintain documentation of procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
- 1–2 years of professional finance experience
- Basic understanding of finance and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel
- Learning agility and adaptability to changing business needs
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or other financial certifications preferred
