Aluminum Window Estimator - LogiKal

ABOUT THE ROLE
F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Aluminum Window Estimator with advanced Orgadata LogiKal expertise to support a U.S.-based custom window fabrication company.
You’ll take residential window projects from architectural drawings through technical window design, takeoffs, supplier pricing, estimates, and fabrication-ready shop drawings.
You’ll work directly in LogiKal to build window positions and cross-sections, generate LOB files for supplier pricing, and configure aluminum window systems. You’ll also use AutoCAD to produce accurate shop drawings for fabrication.
This is not a general estimating or drafting role. We need someone who has used LogiKal extensively on real aluminum window projects and understands how profiles, glazing, hardware, system configurations, estimating, and fabrication fit together.
This is a full-time, remote role open to candidates in India and the Philippines, working New York / U.S. business hours Monday through Friday.
IMPORTANT: Advanced hands-on Orgadata LogiKal experience is mandatory. Candidates with general CAD experience, basic LogiKal familiarity, or estimating experience without real window-system work will not be shortlisted. A portfolio of your own LogiKal and AutoCAD work is required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Review architectural floor plans, elevations, schedules, sections, and details
• Perform window takeoffs from architectural drawings
• Design custom residential aluminum window systems in Orgadata LogiKal
• Build accurate window positions and cross-sections in LogiKal
• Generate and export LOB files for supplier pricing
• Coordinate technical requirements with window-system suppliers
• Prepare complete estimates and pricing packages
• Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings in AutoCAD
• Work with aluminum profiles, glazing, hardware, and system configurations
• Identify missing information or design inconsistencies before they become fabrication problems
• Coordinate with U.S.-based clients, suppliers, estimators, designers, and project teams
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Advanced, hands-on Orgadata LogiKal proficiency
• Significant real-world LogiKal experience on aluminum window projects
• Experience creating window positions and cross-sections in LogiKal
• Experience generating and exporting LOB files
• Strong AutoCAD skills for fabrication and shop drawings
• Strong knowledge of aluminum window systems, including profiles, glazing, hardware, and configurations
• Experience with Aluprof or comparable aluminum systems
• Window takeoff experience from architectural drawings
• Project estimation and pricing experience
• Ability to interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and details
• Understanding of window fabrication and production workflows
• Ability to identify technical issues before fabrication
• Strong written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Availability to work New York / U.S. business hours Monday through Friday
• Portfolio showing actual LogiKal projects, cross-sections, LOB files, shop drawings, and/or estimates you personally produced
NICE TO HAVE
• Direct Aluprof system experience
• Experience with U.S. residential construction projects
• New York or New Jersey project experience
• Revit experience for BIM coordination
• Advanced window shop-drawing experience
• Experience working for a window manufacturer, fabricator, or aluminum-system supplier
• Familiarity with U.S. architectural and construction-documentation standards
• Custom residential window-fabrication experience
