Purchasing Assistant

Supplier Management
Ø Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Ø Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
Ø Maintain and build relationships with existing suppliers.
Purchasing and Sourcing
Ø Coordinate and manage procurement activities for goods and services.
Ø Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
Cost Management
Ø Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs.
Ø Ensure procurement decisions align with the organization’s budget and financial goals.
Compliance and Reporting
Ø Ensure that all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
Ø Maintain records of purchase orders, supplier contracts, and other relevant documentation.
Ø Prepare procurement reports for management and internal stakeholders.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; proficiency in procurement software.
- Working Conditions: Office environment with occasional travel to supplier sites.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
