Summary

We are seeking a highly articulate, persuasive, and results-driven Subscription Retention & Reactivation Specialist to lead an essential win-back initiative for a premier subscription-based training platform serving financial services professionals.

The primary objective of this role is to conduct targeted outbound outreach (calls and text messages) to re-engage a backlog of inactive subscribers, update their billing details, and restore their memberships. Once the initial backlog is cleared, the role will transition into an ongoing daily retention manager, while expanding into strategic administrative support, relationship-building, and appointment setting.

What you’ll be doing:

• Outbound Re-Engagement: Conduct persistent, high-volume outbound phone calls and SMS follow-ups to inactive subscribers to re-engage them with the platform.
• Personalized Pitching: Leverage platform usage data (past activity, video history) to personalize conversations and pitch win-back offers (e.g., promotional free-month extensions).
• Payment Processing: Comfortably and securely collect updated credit card and billing details over the phone to process account reactivations.
• Data Management & Clean-Up: Log call outcomes, identify subscribers who have exited the industry, and cleanly close out inactive records.
• Ongoing Churn Prevention: Monitor the subscriber base daily to immediately contact and retain newly lapsed accounts.
• Future Scope Expansion: As the initial backlog is cleared, take on additional responsibilities including appointment setting, travel/interview booking, and key relationship management for senior leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Exceptional English Fluency (Cognitive & Verbal)

• Must think and respond natively in English with zero visible cognitive lag or translation delay.
• Ability to maintain a natural, fluid, and fast-paced US-facing phone conversation. An accent is completely fine, but rapid verbal agility and real-time comprehension are non-negotiable.

2. Proven Outbound Voice Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in a US-facing outbound calling role.
• Strongly preferred background in subscription reactivation, win-back campaigns, churn reduction, or direct sales.

3. Demonstrated Track Record & Metrics

• Must be able to speak directly to performance metrics, including conversion percentages, reactivation rates, and previous campaign outcomes.

4. Financial & Billing Conversation Comfort

• Experience handling sensitive payment details (credit cards/billing info) gracefully, ensuring security, professionalism, and trust without making the customer feel pressured.

5. Adaptability & Leadership Potential

• Demonstrated history of taking initiative (e.g., process improvement, team leading, script optimization). We want a professional who can grow alongside the role as responsibilities expand.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience communicating with audiences in direct sales, direct marketing, insurance, or financial service industries.
• Familiarity using VoIP solutions (such as Google Voice) alongside CRM platform tracking.
