Freelance Brand Strategist

At LENA , we help businesses build brands with clarity, intention, and longevity. We're growing our network of talented freelance Brand Strategists who can join us on a project basis whenever a client needs strategic brand work.

We're looking for someone who loves asking thoughtful questions, uncovering meaningful insights, and turning research into clear, compelling strategies that guide everything a brand creates afterward.

This is a client-facing role, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable leading conversations and confidently presenting strategic recommendations.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the strategic foundation of a client's brand, including:

• Conducting brand immersion sessions and stakeholder interviews
• Reviewing research, customer insights, analytics, reviews, and existing brand materials
• Identifying market opportunities and competitive positioning
• Developing a comprehensive Brand Strategy presentation
• Creating audience and consumer personas
• Crafting Vision, Mission, and Purpose statements
• Defining positioning, messaging direction, and core brand foundations
• Developing Content Strategy & Storytelling Pillars that translate strategy into ongoing communication
• Presenting your work directly to clients
• Collaborating with our creative team to ensure strategy carries into design and messaging

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience creating brand strategies for businesses or personal brands
• Knows how to facilitate discovery workshops and strategic conversations
• Can transform research into actionable insights
• Understands branding beyond visual identity
• Is an exceptional communicator and storyteller
• Can confidently explain strategic decisions to clients
• Thinks critically while remaining collaborative
• Is organized, self-managed, and comfortable working remotely
