Retention Lifecycle Strategist
Hiring: Retention Lifecycle Strategist for a DTC beauty brand scaling from 8 to 9 figures.
The front end works. The back end has no owner.
Email, SMS, subscription retention, loyalty, post-purchase — all live, all revenue-relevant, all unowned. This role fixes that permanently.
You won't "support retention." You are the back end of the business.
What you'll own:
→ Every core flow — welcome, abandon, post-purchase, replenishment, cross-sell, winback, subscription lifecycle — rebuilt and split-tested
→ The email/SMS campaign calendar, planned a month ahead, including BFCM and Mother's Day
→ Subscription churn: cancel flows, skip/swap, save offers, cadence, root-cause diagnosis
→ Segmentation by purchase behaviour, subscription status and engagement
→ Post-purchase surveys, review mining, loyalty and inserts that feed front-end creative
What you need:
✅ 3+ years in retention, lifecycle or CRM at DTC ecommerce brands
✅ Expert-level Klaviyo across email and SMS
✅ Hands-on subscription churn reduction
✅ Copywriting that sells
✅ Specific numbers you authored — flow revenue, churn reduction, LTV lift. Authorship is verified.

? Fully remote, full-time, US Eastern overlap
? Weekly performance reporting, full autonomy on the test agenda
By day 90: email/SMS share of revenue and flow RPM up, churn trending down.
