A Sales Agent thoroughly covers the designated territory, guarantees the product availability and proper implementation, and continuously collects market intelligence to support the team in making timely and well-informed sales decisions. The Sales Agent is also responsible for exclusively promoting and selling the products within the assigned area and is not permitted to sell, promote, solicit, or distribute any other products unless explicitly authorized in writing by Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Saturation & Store Visits
A. Consistently visit and saturate different shops within the assigned area.
B. Ensure sufficient coverage of existing accounts while identifying potential new stores and business opportunities.
C. Maintain regular and productive store visits based on the assigned route and coverage plan or MCP (MASTER COVERAGE PLAN).
2. Product Availability
A. During every store visit, the Sales Agent must gather and report relevant information regarding product availability, including:
- Available flavors/SKUs
- Current inventory levels
- Out-of-stock items
- Replenishment requirements
- Display and planogram execution
B. The Sales Agent is strictly prohibited from selling, promoting, soliciting, or distributing any products other than those without prior written authorization from Management.
- 3. Competitor Monitoring
A. Sales Agents are also responsible for monitoring competitor movements and activities, including:
- Competitor product availability
- Pricing and price changes
- Promotions and special offers
- Discounts and bundles
- New product launches
- Competitor displays and merchandising activities
- Other relevant activities that may affect the company's sales and market position
4. Data Gathering & Reporting
A. Gather accurate and updated market information during store visits.
B. Submit required reports and updates within the prescribed timeline.
C. Immediately escalate significant competitor activities, pricing changes, or market opportunities to the Sales Manager.
5. Compliance with Company Policies
A. Comply with all company policies, sales procedures, assigned routes, pricing guidelines, and reporting requirements.
B. Refrain from engaging in any unauthorized sale, promotion, solicitation, or distribution of other products.
