Accounting Supervisor

Supervises the Accounting department’s day to day operations and manages financial accounting functions like bank reconciliation, disbursements including payroll and employee-related expenses, receipts and remittances, monthly and annual taxation and financial reports. Assist in the renewal of registrations, permits and licenses and ensuring that legal requirements compliance. Should also perform job-related tasks that may be required from time to time.
TASK
Monitors bank balance and issuances
• Checks and approves payment requests
• Monitor the revolving fund of the branches
• Monitoring and Reconciliation of Claims
• Issuance of receipts for Suppliers
• Checking of payroll and other employee-related disbursements
• Capex monitoring and reporting
• Filing of BIR returns; compliance of various government regulations and ensuring that business permits, taxes and licenses are updated
• Monitoring of Business Development Fund
• Coordinates with the 3rd party Accounting firm and complies with the submission of documents as required
• Monitors the encoding of remittances by the Accounting staff and ensures proper posting of payments and adjustments
• Prepares Financial Reports such as but not limited to P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow, Bank Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Claims
• Handles other job-related task assigned from time to time
