Job Summary
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment at engineering project sites. The position will implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies, conduct site inspections, identify potential hazards, and ensure that employees, contractors, and project personnel follow established safety procedures and applicable regulations.
The Safety Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, Supervisors, and workers to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage while maintaining compliance with company and client safety requirements.
Job Qualification
- With a valid Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Certificate.
- With a valid First Aid Certificate .
- Preferably with experience as a Safety Officer in engineering, construction, industrial, or on-site projects.
- Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and workplace safety procedures.
- Willing to work on-site and stay in the assigned project location as required.
- Willing to be deployed to different project sites.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to strictly implement safety rules and regulations.
- Physically fit and willing to conduct regular site inspections.
