AA SALES ENGINEER

Location: Makati City | Field & Office-Based

Work Setup: Client visits and field assignments required

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven and technically minded AA Sales Engineer to promote and sell industrial automation products, systems, and technical services to existing and prospective customers.

The ideal candidate combines engineering knowledge with strong sales and relationship-building skills and is comfortable engaging with customers across the Chemical, Food & Beverage, manufacturing, and other industrial sectors .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sales & Business Development – Promote and sell Advanced Automation products, systems, and services to industrial customers, distributors, and prospective clients.
• Develop New Accounts – Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
• Client Visits & Needs Assessment – Visit existing and prospective customers to understand their technical and operational requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Technical Solution Selling – Provide customers with technical consultation and recommend automation products or services that address their specific needs.
• Build Customer Relationships – Maintain strong, professional relationships with existing customers and develop long-term business partnerships.
• Prepare Sales Documents – Prepare quotations, tenders, sales reports, presentations, proposals, and other sales-related materials.
• Achieve Sales Targets – Work independently to achieve assigned booking and sales targets while continuously developing the sales pipeline.
• Order Coordination – Monitor customer orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
• Customer Support – Respond proactively to customer inquiries, requirements, technical concerns, and requests.
• Sales Reporting – Prepare accurate weekly and monthly sales reports , including sales activities, opportunities, pipeline status, and account development.
• Market Development – Stay informed about customer needs, industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the industrial automation market.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering , or an equivalent technical course.
• 1–2 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Engineering Sales, or Technical Sales is an advantage.
• Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, process control, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals at different organizational levels.
• Comfortable conducting client visits, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Willing to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
