About the role
Stretch Distribution Inc. (SDI) is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This is a full-time position based in Legazpi City, Albay . In this strategic role, you will oversee and optimise our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution logistics. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. This position plays a crucial role in supporting SDI's growth objectives and maintaining our reputation for reliability and service excellence.Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods
Manage inventory levels and implement systems to maintain accurate stock records and minimise discrepancies
Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency and maximise space utilisation
Oversee distribution logistics and coordinate with transport partners to ensure on-time delivery of shipments
Monitor and manage supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and distribution activities
Lead, train and supervise warehouse and logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure quality service and competitive pricing
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
Minimum 5-7 years' of experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations or logistics
Proven expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
Strong knowledge of warehousing, storage and distribution best practices and industry standards
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, reduce operational costs and improve efficiency metrics
Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience supervising warehouse staff
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in data analysis and the use of supply chain analytics tools
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance requirements in warehouse operations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, APICS CPIM or equivalent supply chain qualifications are highly desirable
Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) or distribution centre operations is advantageous
