Service Technician for Forklift

Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related problems.
- Repair and replace defective parts such as brakes, tires, batteries, hydraulic components, and electrical systems.
- conduct safety inspections and functional tests after repairs.
- Troubleshoot engine, transmission, steering, and hydraulic system issues.
- Rad and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Prepare service reports and document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Respond to on-site service calls and emergency repairs when required.
- Coordinate with supervisors and customers regarding equipment status and repair recommendations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related vocational course.
- TESDA NC II in Automotive Servicing, Heavy Equipment Servicing, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in forklift, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of diesel and LPG engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and willing to perform field service assignments.
- Willing to work overtime and travel to client sites when necessary.
