About the role
We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, and trustworthy Housekeeping & Animal Care Staff member to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our dog and cat areas, warehouse, and office premises. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of areas used for dogs and cats, followed by warehouse upkeep and the continuous cleanliness of the offices and other company facilities.
Key responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of dog and cat areas, including cages, kennels, enclosures, and designated animal care spaces.
Clean and disinfect animal cages, feeding areas, water containers, and surrounding areas according to established sanitation procedures.
Remove animal waste, dispose of it properly, and ensure that animal areas remain clean, dry, odor-free, and hygienic.
Replenish clean drinking water and assist with feeding dogs and cats as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
Monitor the cleanliness and general condition of the animals and promptly report any unusual behavior, visible signs of illness, injury, or other concerns to the assigned personnel.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including floors, walkways, storage areas, and other assigned spaces.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of offices, showrooms, reception areas, restrooms, hallways, and other company premises on a daily basis.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures.
Ensure that customer-facing areas, particularly the showroom and reception area, remain clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
Follow established cleaning schedules, company policies, and workplace safety procedures.
About you
At least a high school graduate or equivalent.
Experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, animal care, or kennel maintenance is an advantage.
Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and safe handling of cleaning materials.
Physically fit and capable of performing routine cleaning, waste disposal, and maintenance tasks.
Responsible, honest, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
Willing to learn and follow proper animal hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Willing to work on a shifting schedule, weekends, or holidays when required
