Housekeeping Manager

- 5 years extensive experience as Housekeeping Manager in a hotel industry
- With strong leadership skills
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Excellent in problem-solving
- Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, supervise, motivate, and conduct performance reviews for housekeeping staff.
- Operations & Standards: Inspect guest rooms and common areas for cleanliness, order, and maintenance.
- Develop and enforce cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Manage daily cleaning, laundry, and servicing of all areas.
- Inventory & Budgeting:
- Monitor and manage stock of supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Order supplies and control departmental costs.
- Maintenance & Repairs:
- Identify and report faults or damage in rooms and facilities.
- Arrange for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Guest Services:
- Respond to customer complaints and special requests.
- Ensure seamless coordination with other departments (like Front Desk) for guest satisfaction.
- Administration:
- Create staff rotas and manage timekeeping.
- Maintain records and manage lost property.
- Act as "manager on duty" when required.
