Structural Inspector Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Structural Inspector to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority;
- Direct Inspectors and ensure performance;
- Observe site safety procedures;
- Give practical advise on constructional matters;
- Assist in or measure work done when required;
- Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works;
- Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings;
- Inspect construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements;
- Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
Requirements:
- Computer Literacy / Basic Computer Skills;
- Two to three years of experience as an Architectural Coordinator exposed to the processes, means and methods of implementing designs;
- Business Analysis;
- Clerical Skills;
- Good communication skills (Both oral and written);
- Strong flexibility and adaptability skills necessary to work in a multidisciplinary team;
- Community Development;
- Arithmetic;
- A graduate of a five-year Bachelor of Science degree program with concentration in Architecture and is a licensed Architect;
- Attention to detail;
- Advanced knowledge in various design softwares with the ability to efficiently integrate shop drawings based on the original plans;
- Proven project management skills needed to properly allocate time, resources, and focus on a multi-tasked condition;
- Creative thinking;
- Expert and up-to-date technical knowledge in architecture and commercial awareness.
