Our company is looking for a Baker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- carefully handle relevant equipment and machinery in the galley;
- lead bakery demonstrations for guests as per daily program;
- helps avoid wastage;
- help with the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items;
- prepare bread, rolls, danish, muffins, and biscuits for guests and crew members;
- Checking production schedule;
- Submit the daily cleaning reports;
- Submit the daily production reports;
- In-charge of Wagner Breads Production;
- Assisting chefs for baking productions;
- Monitoring the actual ingredients;
- Requesting the ingerdients needed for daily production to stockroom staff.
Requirements:
- Cost and quality awareness;
- ability to communicate efficiently with the Executive Chef and the rest of the team in English or German;
- experience as baker in restaurants, hotels or on cruise vessels;
- self-motivation, reliability and creativity;
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude;
- Knowledge on bread and pastries is a must;
- Cooking;
- Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role;
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters;
- Judgement and Decision Making;
- Problem Sensitivity;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Kitchen Appliance, Equipment, Machine and Operation;
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment;
- Willing to be assigned at Ayala Mall Manila Bay, Parañaque.
