Our company is looking for a Baker to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • carefully handle relevant equipment and machinery in the galley;
  • lead bakery demonstrations for guests as per daily program;
  • helps avoid wastage;
  • help with the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items;
  • prepare bread, rolls, danish, muffins, and biscuits for guests and crew members;
  • Checking production schedule;
  • Submit the daily cleaning reports;
  • Submit the daily production reports;
  • In-charge of Wagner Breads Production;
  • Assisting chefs for baking productions;
  • Monitoring the actual ingredients;
  • Requesting the ingerdients needed for daily production to stockroom staff.

Requirements:

  • Cost and quality awareness;
  • ability to communicate efficiently with the Executive Chef and the rest of the team in English or German;
  • experience as baker in restaurants, hotels or on cruise vessels;
  • self-motivation, reliability and creativity;
  • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude;
  • Knowledge on bread and pastries is a must;
  • Cooking;
  • Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role;
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters;
  • Judgement and Decision Making;
  • Problem Sensitivity;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Kitchen Appliance, Equipment, Machine and Operation;
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment;
  • Willing to be assigned at Ayala Mall Manila Bay, ParaƱaque.
