Security Manager

Security Manager manages a group of security guards who ensure the protection of an organization’s facilities. Develops and enforces security procedures and regulations. Being a Security Manager acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, Security Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.

Our company is looking for a Security Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Working experience with a minimum of 2 years’ service in each employment;
  • Willing to travel in bound and out bound;
  • Managing the response and investigation of serious incidents such as vehicle theft, armed robberies, breaking and entering etc;
  • Managing security incidents and to ensure prevention, detection, containment and correction of security breaches;
  • Liaising daily with Operations management on various operational issues;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience at senior level/Captain with equivalent position or above, preferably in the armed forces;
  • Dealing with all required administration matters;
  • Submitting relevant weekly / monthly incident and general reports as required by Management;
  • Ensure that all incidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented;
  • Participate in meetings when required to report on relevant security matters;
  • International experience will be an added advantage;
  • Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client;
  • To maintain all aspects of safety/security and risk management process for the company and all its assets and properties;
  • Willing to work during holiday if required;
  • Assisting the Task Team in special operations / investigations.

Requirements:

  • Must be Grade A PSIRA Qualification;
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License & own vehicle;
  • Must have sober qualities (Non Smoker);
  • Must have an ability to analyze threat and risk potential;
  • Have the ability to obtain a higher level security clearance with the UK MoD or equivalent;
  • Atleast 5 years experience as a Supervisor;
  • Willing to be assigned in Quezon City;
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in delivering security related services in a major programme;
  • International experience will be an added advantage;
  • A minimum of 5 years working with the MoD or other government security forces;
  • Must possess at least a 4-yr Bachelor’s / College degree in any field;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience at senior level/Captain with equivalent position or above, preferably in the armed forces;
  • A graduate of Criminology or its equivalent;
  • Can communicate well in both English and Filipino (written and verbal);
  • Very good in Plannning, Organizing, Controlling, and Coordinating.
