Contract Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Contract Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Advice on specific requirements of the contract and performance in accordance therewith;
- Agreeing valuations and methods of reimbursement with client and Parsons representatives. Setting up and managing site valuation procedures;
- Coordination with site team to ascertain contractual and practical measures to ensure compliance with requirements;
- Liaison and coordination of agreement on valuations with contractors;
- Assessing contractual implications of site decisions and optimization of practical contract conditions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the Electrical Transmission & Distribution Industry is required;
- Registered or eligible for registration with South African Council Construction for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPMP);
- A tertiary 3-4-year Engineering diploma or degree or relevant discipline/industry;
- Minimum 5 years (of the 10 years) in a Project/Contracts Management position and delivery of Projects.
