Web/UI Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Web/UI Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Writing semantic markup and layout using CSS;
- Develop high fidelity prototypes and proof of concepts for the next generation of products;
- Optimizing using HTML, CSS and JS;
- Researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements, both for our site, app and mobile;
- Innovate with the use of emerging and established technologies to enhance the user experience;
- Code dynamic user interfaces of the highest standard.
Requirements:
- Experience with Javascript;
- Experience implementing W3C compliant websites using HTML, XHTML, and CSS;
- Experience with HTML 5 and CSS3;
- Be able to take instruction and direction from the team lead & their peers;
- Experience with AJAX / JS Framework such as JQuery;
- Be able to offer solutions (based on above experience) and grow ideas in a team environment;
- Understand SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development;
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator);
- Be humble, willing to learn & be coachable;
- jQuery or other Javascript framework experience to create rich interactive content;
- Solid HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript development skills;
- Be highly motivated and passionate about what they do and the work they offer;
- Intimate understanding of the possibilities (and limitations) of current and emerging web and mobile technologies and trends;
- A firm grasp on web interaction / interface and UX design;
- Cross browser compatibility issues and optimization.
