Our company is looking for a Resident Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create incident tickets based on customer support requests;
  • Liaise with customer for detailed information about the incident;
  • Ensure all field engineer activities are raised with appropriate ticket;
  • Perform basic qualification and escalate ticket to field support engineer;
  • Track and ensure ticket service level (SLA) is met;
  • Provide updates to customer for on-going cases;
  • Attempt first call resolution for simple incident;
  • Create weekly incident summary for technical services manager to review.

Requirements:

  • Professionally registered with ECSA;
  • 10-12 years experience;
  • Must be conversant with modern project management technique;
  • 15 years cumulative appropriate experience;
  • BSc Engineering/ B. Engineering Degree;
  • Experience on erection of cable supported bridge will be advantageous;
  • Previous experience on projects of similar magnitude & value;
  • BSc: Civil Engineering;
  • Experience managing SANRAL projects;
  • Vast experience in GCC, FIDIC, COLTO and SANS contracts;
  • Great communication and people skills;
  • National Diploma: Civil Engineering;
  • Specialisation gained in roads projects, both national and provincial;
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil Designer.
