Job Description
We don't need someone who just builds pipelines.
We need someone who owns the truth behind the data. Someone who asks why before deciding how .Who understands the business before designing the architecture.
Who challenges bad requirements instead of blindly building them.
Who catches bad data before the business does.
Who can lead an incident, find the root cause, fix it, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
You need to be deeply technical: SQL, Python, Databricks, Azure, ETL/ELT, data modeling, governance, APIs.
But technical depth is only the baseline.
You need to connect: Business Problem → Data → Architecture → Execution → Outcome
You'll lead two Data Engineers while staying close enough to the work to challenge, troubleshoot, and make the hard technical calls.
Qualifications
You probably won't thrive here if:
