- Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring the correct dosage, form, and instructions.
- Patient Counseling: Advise patients on the proper use of prescribed medications, potential side effects, interactions, and storage requirements.
- Medication Management: Review patient prescriptions for accuracy, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Health & Safety: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of prescribed treatments, making adjustments as necessary, and providing follow-up care.
- Inventory Control: Manage pharmaceutical stock, order medications, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and health history.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards regarding the practice of pharmacy.

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
- State licensure to practice pharmacy.
