Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated MEPFS Associate to support the maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, and safety systems across commercial properties. This role involves performing day-to-day MEPFS tasks, assisting with inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of MEPFS systems.
- Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, and safety systems.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor system performance and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Assist in coordinating with contractors and service providers for specific tasks or repairs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, or Facilities Management (or related fields).
- 1-3 years of experience in MEPFS systems maintenance or facilities management (preferably in commercial properties).
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and building management practices.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from senior technicians or supervisors.
Working Conditions:
- Site-based role with the potential for travel between commercial properties.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work for urgent repairs or inspections.
