Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours 

Employment type: Permanent

Pay range: We value transparency and want to ensure a good fit for both parties. We encourage applicants who are comfortable within the salary range of Php 104,000 to 142,000 to apply.

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Core Technology – Service Management team. This role will be an opportunity for you to design, build, and maintain automation and integrations that improve the efficiency, reliability, and consistency of IT Service Management delivery.

What will you do as a Senior Automation Engineer?  

Reporting to the ITSM Data and Tooling Manager, your accountabilities will include: 

• Working with ITSM process owners and technology stakeholders to identify and deliver end‑to‑end automated workflows that reduce manual effort across ITSM processes.  
• Designing, building, testing, and maintaining automations and integrations aligned to the IT Service Management roadmap using enterprise platforms. 
• Engineering robust integrations between the ITSM platform and upstream/downstream systems such as identity, asset, licensing, security, productivity, and monitoring tools.  
• Designing and maintaining automations for CMDB population, enrichment, service mapping, and data quality controls.  
• Defining and applying automation standards, ensuring code quality, governance, security compliance, and creation of clear technical documentation.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? 

Essential: 

• Demonstrates strong knowledge on ITSM and ITIL processes, tools, and lifecycles.  
• Exhibits expertise in designing resilient automation workflows and integrations using APIs, webhooks, and scheduled data synchronisation. 
• Demonstrates proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby, with strong CI/CD practices.  
• Shows deep understanding of CMDB data models, CI classes, service mapping, and data quality management.  
• Displays strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.  
• Displays experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure. 

Desirable: 

• Shows ability to design AI‑assisted workflows within an ITSM environment.
