JasonL Design Studio is looking for a talented Senior Commercial Interior Designer (8+ years experience) with a strong background in commercial interiors, office fit-outs, and workplace design.
We’re looking for a designer, not just a drafter — someone who understands how people work within spaces and can transform ideas into creative, functional, and build-ready environments.
What You'll Do
Develop workplace layouts, space planning, and test-fits
Produce complete construction documentation packages
Design detailed commercial joinery solutions
Create mood boards, presentations, and FF&E schedules
Ensure compliance with Australian standards
Collaborate with project managers and suppliers from concept through delivery
What We're Looking For
8+ years commercial interior design experience
Strong experience in office and commercial fit-outs (essential)
Proven workplace design and space planning expertise (essential)
Advanced AutoCAD skills (speed and accuracy essential)
Strong Photoshop / Adobe Suite skills
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
Bonus Skills
SketchUp
Revit / BIM experience
AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney)
Portfolio required: Must include workplace projects, office fit-outs, technical drawing sets, and joinery documentation.
