Procurement Officer

Strategic Negotiation and Sourcing
- Conduct strategic negotiation events for the Strategic Sourcing group.
- Negotiate business terms with vendors and partners to minimize risk and maximize price efficiencies.
- Lead sourcing events from project kick-off to contract execution.
Relationship Management
- Build and create relationships with internal clients to understand their contracting needs.
- Establish relationships and lead stakeholders/cross-functional teams to get process buy-in.
- Create Strategic Sourcing partnerships to increase addressable spend.
Contract Management
- Solid understanding of contract forms (MNDA, MSA, SOWs).
- Liaise with Legal and Security departments to ensure all contract controls and protections are in place.
Category Expertise and Analytics
- Become a category expert, developing category playbooks and roadmaps to enhance strategic negotiations.
- Participate in spend analytics and work planning efforts.
Project Management
- Utilize project management practices and tools to create, manage, and report on project progress.
- Design and develop weekly and monthly operations matrix reports including spend and SLAs.
Technology and Tools
- Use and evaluate eSourcing tools and new technologies.
- Technology-focused industry experience
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and project management abilities
- Proficiency in advanced sourcing tools and technologies
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Technology Contracts
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
