Sales Operations Associate

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales Operations Manager to join our Sales Operations team. Sales Operations is the team that supports our ~200 person sales division, helping them to be more efficient and to operate as smoothly as possible. This means understanding how sales works, understanding our products, identifying weaknesses in our processes, and building and refining tools and systems to help our sales team work as well as possible. You will join this team reporting to our Head of Sales Operations. 

The ideal candidate has strong problem solving and analytical skills , and is also able to work with other people to make things happen in reality . You don’t stop at finding a neat solution to a problem. You also want to implement change and to see the results of your work. You are comfortable working with data, have some familiarity with how sales teams work, and are able to partner with other people.

First Circle is changing small business banking in the Philippines. The sky is the limit for someone who wants to get stuck in and make a difference.

An example “day in the life” of this role

You generate our monthly sales report. The data shows that there is a big change in conversion rate in our sales funnel. You dive deeper into the data and discover that there is a problem with lead quality in one of our sales channels. You investigate even further and find that teams haven’t been correctly pre-qualifying leads before reaching out to them. You find the gap in our pre-qualifying process, implement a change in the process to address this issue, and then roll it out across the sales team. The result is a step-change in funnel conversion and the impact is immediate. You found a problem, worked out how to fix it, and made it happen.

Responsibilities

• Reporting on sales team performance
• Conducting ad hoc analysis and investigations to identify opportunities for improvement
• Designing new solutions to problems that we haven’t solved
• Refining existing processes to make them run smoother or faster
• Executing (and ideally automating) recurring processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, STEM or similar field
• Professional Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in an operations or an analytics role (ideally in a finance, fintech, or tech environment and/or in a sales operations team)

• Strong Analytical & Technical Skills: Proven problem-solving ability with experience in data analysis and tools such as SQL.
• Execution-Oriented Mindset: Practical and solutions-driven, with the ability to take initiatives from problem identification through implementation. Highly practical. Can take a problem, find a solution, and then make things happen
