Crewing Coordinator

Odfjell is looking for a Crewing Coordinator who combines strong analytical skills with a sense of urgency to deliver timely and accurate results.

Your ability to manage work processes and deliver timely, well-considered results will be an asset in this role. Sound judgment, independent decision-making, and strong problem-solving skills are essential to succeeding in this dynamic position.

In this role, you'll work with minimal supervision while prioritizing effectively, maintaining continuity despite interruptions, and keeping operations running smoothly. You'll apply your technical expertise to develop new ideas and systems, improve existing processes, and drive continuous improvement. Beyond your technical expertise, you'll build strong relationships with seafarers and internal stakeholders through clear communication, trust, and professionalism.

The Crewing Coordinator—

• Develops plans for crew deployment based on approved vessel assignments and rotations
• Facilitates all crewing deployment activities from documentations, training and dispatch up to repatriation of seafarers
• Coordinates with internal and external contacts for dispatch- and disembarkation-related activities as Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME) administration, Pre-Departure Orientation and Seminar (PDOS) schedule, domestic/international flight/hotel bookings, mandatory training enrolment, final briefing, exit interviews, port disbursement processing, etc.
• Prepares relevant reports to aid management of crewing operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate in Science or Management
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional follow-through
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to perform well under pressure and take on new challenges
• Flexibility to adapt to unforeseen changes through effective planning and time management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
