Accounting Specialist

Record and reconcile receipts in the accounting system / Book keepingGather and organize financial documents and records relevant for tax filingsRegularly reviewing financial records, transactions, and internal controls to identify potential risks and ensure complianceTracking compliance activities, reporting findings to management and recommending corrective actionsReconcile accounting data such as banks, payables, etc. and resolve discrepanciesAct as the main point of contact with government agencies and firms.Handle crucial documents, ensuring they are appropriately sorted, filed, and maintained.Oversee the monitoring of compliance across the business. This includes tax filings and monitoring paymentemployer-related government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig.Aid in the day-to-day recording of transactions, ensuring accurate and timely records.Process/Request payments to vendors and suppliers according to company policies (Accounts Payable)Maintain accurate records of all outgoing paymentsCoordinates with the Building Administrator regarding problems that may arise in the building and reports these immediately to respective group an other maintenance and repairMonitor & Processes the request of funds and payment of the utility bills of the company (Water, Electricity, and Rent)Manages and monitors the routing and filing of all accounting documents coming in and out of the department.Helps ensures that office equipment is in the best condition.Collaborating with internal departments, external auditors, and regulatory bodiesRespond to basic tax inquiries within the organizationMaintain and disburse petty cash for approved expensesRecord and reconcile all petty cash transactionsPrepare periodic petty cash reports and ensure proper documentationPrepare monthly FS and P&L reportsPrepare daily budget requestAccomplishes other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate manager.
