Multimedia Designer - Graphic Design & Video Editing (Non-Profit)

About the role

We are seeking a creative and service-oriented Multimedia Designer to support faith-based programs, evangelization initiatives, formation activities, and community communications through engaging visual and multimedia content. The role combines graphic design, video production, editing, and presentation development to create meaningful content that communicates the mission, values, and identity of the community. The successful candidate will collaborate with ministry leaders to produce creative materials for members, families, and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Create visual materials for events, programs, and ministries, including posters, banners, social media graphics, brochures, and flyers

• Develop branding materials consistent with established visual identity guidelines

• Design layouts for digital and print publications, including newsletters, formation handouts, and event booklets

• Collaborate with ministry leaders to translate concepts and messages into clear, engaging visuals

• Produce and edit videos for evangelization, formation programs, community events, and social media

• Capture video footage during assemblies, teachings, conferences, gatherings, and other ministry activities as needed

• Edit videos using appropriate transitions, music, graphics, and subtitles

• Create short-form video content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube

• Maintain an organized archive of raw footage, project files, and completed videos

• Create visually engaging presentations for teachings, assemblies, conferences, and training sessions

About you

• Bachelor's degree preferred; an associate degree is also acceptable, preferably in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Animation, Film or Video Production, Communication Technology, or a related field

• Demonstrated experience in graphic design, video editing, and presentation development

• Proficiency in relevant creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro), Canva, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software

• Strong understanding of visual communication, typography, layout, and multimedia storytelling

• Ability to manage multiple projects, organize creative assets, and meet agreed deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

• Creative and capable of developing engaging digital content across visual and multimedia formats

• Service-oriented, with a genuine interest in supporting evangelization, faith formation, and community engagement

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with ministry leaders and volunteers

• Willing to participate in or attend community events as needed for content creation
