Swiftstead Logitech Inc. is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch/Logistic Specialist to manage vehicle dispatching operations across day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring delivery timelines, tracking in-transit vehicles, reporting incidents, and coordinating with clients to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle dispatching operations during assigned day or night shifts.
- Monitor delivery schedules and follow up on delivery timelines to ensure timely completion.
- Track in-transit vehicles and promptly report delays, route issues, and other delivery exceptions.
- Monitor idle vehicles, including engine-on incidents while parked, and prepare the necessary incident reports.
- Coordinate with clients regarding project requirements, delivery schedules, and operational updates.
- Communicate with drivers and relevant teams to address dispatch and delivery concerns.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, vehicle monitoring records, and incident reports.
- Escalate operational issues to the appropriate team or supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or a similar role.
- Experience in vehicle tracking, delivery monitoring, and dispatch coordination is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to monitor multiple deliveries and respond promptly to operational issues.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and sense of responsibility.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including day and night shifts, as required.
