General Accountant

As part of our Philippines expansion, this role will be our first hire locally , working directly with leadership. You will gain exposure to regional operations, modern tools, and evolving systems, with the opportunity to grow as the company scales.

Working Conditions

We are looking for a junior, execution-focused Accountant who can take ownership of day-to-day finance operations while helping us build a strong financial foundation in the Philippines.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow into a larger finance role over time.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Handle collections and AR monitoring
• Record, track, and reconcile company expenses
• Maintain accurate records in Xero (and support potential transition to QuickBooks if required)
• Prepare and file BIR tax forms (e.g., 1601-EQ, 1601-F, 2550Q, 2550M, 1701, etc.)
• Coordinate with BIR and government offices when required
• Support month-end closing and financial reporting
• Assist with administrative and office operations (approx. 30%, may increase based on needs)
• Help clean up and organize financial records as part of ongoing system improvements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
• Familiarity with Xero/QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting practices
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and presentation)
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
