Key Responsibilities & Duties
A. Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Monthly: Prepare monthly withholding tax schedules for employee compensation and expanded withholding taxes.
- Quarterly
- Prepare quarterly expanded withholding tax returns and fringe benefit tax calculations.
- Prepare the quarterly list of doctors and file BIR Form 2307.
- Annual: Prepare the annual alpha list for withholding tax on compensation and fringe benefit tax.
B. Payroll & Employee Clearances
- Perform weekly verification of clearances for resigned and retired employees, including the precise computation of separation pay.
C. Treasury & Financial Reconciliation
- Prepare monthly and fiscal year bank reconciliations for designated bank accounts (e.g., BPI 0151-0234-79).
D. Budgeting & Financial Control
- Lead and manage the fiscal year budget preparation and consolidation process.
- Conduct daily verification of budget approvals for various operational expenses:
- Purchase requisitions for supplies and equipment
- Repair and maintenance of equipment
- Personnel requests (Request to Hire)
- Prepare quarterly Comparative Revenue and Expense Reports, evaluating each department/unit's actual performance against their submitted budget proposals.
E. Cost Accounting & Management
- Execute costing analysis and pricing setup for:
- Medical procedures and packages
- Medical supplies, gadgets, and instruments
- Patient rooms and accommodation rates
F. General Accounting Support
- Perform other related duties and administrative responsibilities as assigned by department leadership from time to time.
