Description - Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Inspect and identify the causes of any malfunctions or abnormal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
- Communicate with customers regarding vehicle conditions and necessary repairs.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal automotive training program preferred.
- Experience Level: 2–5 years of experience as an auto mechanic.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in automotive diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work in a noisy and potentially hazardous environment.
