- Transportation: Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled properly to prevent damage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, destinations, and any issues encountered.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communication: Coordinate with the logistics team to receive instructions, report delays, and update delivery statuses.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Valid Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations.
- Experience: Previous experience in a driving role, preferably within the logistics or delivery industry.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Time Management: Strong ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all deliveries are accurate and items are in good condition.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
