Compliance and Risk Associate

About You & the Role

The Compliance and Risk Associate supports the Compliance and Risk Department of the Trust and Asset Management Group (TAMG) in monitoring regulatory developments, maintaining compliance documentation, and assisting in risk management activities. The role helps ensure that the Group's policies, procedures, and operations remain aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices while providing administrative and secretariat support to key committees.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in the preparation and dissemination of regulatory advisories and announcements within the Group.
• Maintain an organized repository of relevant laws, regulations, and regulatory issuances.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of policies, procedures, and operations manuals.
• Support investment and trading risk management activities, including monitoring of limits, exposures, settlements, and other risk metrics.
• Track and monitor audit findings, exceptions, and commitments until resolution.
• Monitor Garnishment, Freeze Orders, and Hold-Out instructions from regulators and other bank units.
• Provide secretariat support to the Trust Investment Committee and Accounts Review Committee, including preparation and safekeeping of committee records, minutes, resolutions, and related documents.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support compliance, governance, risk management, and operational objectives. • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

• Complete and reliable tracking of audit findings, exceptions, and commitments.
• Timely processing and recording of garnishment, freeze, and hold-out instructions.
• Accurate and comprehensive committee records, presentations, and supporting documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards.

Qualifications We Value

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Legal Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (Professional experience not required) .
• General knowledge of business, economics, and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) .
• Knowledge of visual graphic design platforms is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and business units.
