Marketing Officer - Bacolor Pampanga

Purpose of the Role

The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing branch marketing programs to acquire new members, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance member retention. The role supports branch operations through the effective implementation of marketing activities, promotions, events, and timely submission of operational reports. Success in this role requires excellent communication, customer engagement, and operational execution. Product knowledge, casino operations, marketing procedures, and regulatory compliance will be developed through structured on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit new members and build strong relationships with existing members to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
• Execute branch promotions, events, raffles, tournaments, and other marketing campaigns in accordance with approved marketing plans.
• Conduct outside marketing, player acquisition, business development, and partnership activities to expand the branch's customer base.
• Explain membership benefits, promotional mechanics, house rules, and responsible gaming policies to customers.
• Coordinate with the Branch Manager, Operations Officer, Head Office Marketing/Admin, and other internal departments to ensure the effective implementation of marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate with PAGCOR representatives on promotional activities, event requirements, raffle and draw verification, regulatory documentation, and other marketing-related compliance matters.
• Ensure all marketing activities, promotional materials, and campaign mechanics comply with PAGCOR regulations, company policies, and internal approval procedures.
• Prepare accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports required by Management, PAGCOR, and other authorized stakeholders.
• Gather customer feedback, market intelligence, competitor information, and industry trends to support continuous improvement of marketing strategies.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and organized records of promotions, participants, winners, approvals, and supporting documents in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other marketing-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Marketing Head, Branch Manager, or Management.
• Protect the confidentiality of customer information and company data in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Must-Have Requirements

Education

• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Communications, or any related field is preferred. Candidates without a bachelor's degree may also be considered if they possess substantial relevant work experience, demonstrated competencies, strong communication skills, and the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role.

Experience

• Previous experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Hospitality, Gaming, Retail, Banking, Airlines, Tourism, or other customer-facing industries is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without direct marketing experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong communication skills, customer service orientation, learning agility, and the potential to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role after structured on-the-job training.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for report preparation, presentations, and business communication.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports, maintain documentation, and record operational data.
• Good customer engagement, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
• Basic analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to quickly learn company products, casino operations, marketing procedures, and new systems.
• Ability to understand and comply with PAGCOR regulations, company policies, and marketing compliance requirements.

Certifications/Licenses (if applicable)

• None required.
• Certifications or training in Sales, Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, Event Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or other related fields are an advantage.
• Knowledge of casino operations and PAGCOR regulations is an advantage but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Gaming, Retail, Banking, Airlines, Food & Beverage (F&B), or other customer-facing industries is an advantage.
• Experience in member acquisition, customer relationship management (CRM), promotions, events, telemarketing, field marketing, or business development is an advantage.
• Experience in handling VIP customers, customer complaints, customer retention, or loyalty programs is an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership experience through previous employment, school organizations, volunteer work, community activities, or extracurricular leadership roles is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of casino operations and PAGCOR regulations is an advantage but not mandatory.
