JOB DECRIPTION:
- Ensures vehicles undergo regular preventive maintenance.
- Inspects, analyzes and diagnoses all route trucks, service units, and other company vehicles
- Repairs and replaces damaged vehicle parts upon approval
- Keeps accurate inventory of spare parts and determines parts needed in vehicle repair
- Keeps inventory of all company-operated vehicles as to their assignment and physical count at all times
- Keep record cards of all vehicles for repair including costs, frequency, etc.
- Ensures that the qualities of vehicle repairs done by accredited shops are according to set standards
- Maintains vehicles in good operating condition and tests for performance
- Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of his work area
- Assists in rescuing stalled vehicles on the road
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least High school graduate
- Must have a certificate in Automotive/Mechanic/Technician Vocational course - TESDA accredited
- With at least 6 months of experience as a Fleet Mechanic
- Knowledgeable about company products and company vehicles
- Skilled in troubleshooting and over hauling of vehicles.
- Holder of Valid Professional Driver’s License with Restriction Code of A, A1, B, B1, B2, and C
