We're looking for a Senior Marketing Designer to lead the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and campaigns for a growing Australian business within a highly specialised technical industry. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining creative design, content development, and B2B marketing to turn complex information into engaging and commercially effective customer communications.

As the first dedicated marketing hire, you'll take ownership of projects from brief to delivery, creating brochures, datasheets, website content, email campaigns, videos, and digital assets that support sales and strengthen brand presence. Working closely with the Melbourne-based team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve processes, and help shape the company's marketing function as it continues to grow.

Success in this role means delivering high-quality, on-brand marketing materials, maintaining accurate and engaging product content, and using creativity, initiative, and strong communication skills to drive measurable marketing outcomes.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the kind of person who:

Design and Creative Production (Approx. 45% of Time)

• Design product brochures, catalogues, technical datasheets and full product-family collateral
  
• Produce print-ready artwork for brochures, exhibitions, signage and promotional material
  
• Edit and prepare source images so they are fit for use across all forms of marketing collateral, print and digital
  
• Create and edit video content explaining technical products, features and common issues to customers
  
• Create website graphics, social-media assets and sales presentations
  
• Edit and enhance product photography
  
• Build infographics and diagrams that make technical products easy to understand
  
• Analyse competitor websites to benchmark product presentation, imagery and design standards
  
• Maintain consistent branding across all materials and hold the brand asset library
  

Marketing Campaigns and Content (Approx. 35% of Time)

• Develop and execute B2B marketing campaigns aligned to the sales pipeline
  
• Support new product launches and promotions end to end
  
• Write and build email campaigns and customer communications
  
• Create content for the website and digital channels, including LinkedIn
  
• Maintain the website, keeping product content, imagery and pages current
  
• Conduct periodic audits of the website and dealer websites, checking that products, branding and technical information are presented correctly
  
• Build and maintain a video platform for product, technical and training content
  
• Research competitors and identify positioning opportunities
  
• Contribute to the overall marketing strategy
  

Marketing Systems (Approx. 15% of Time)

• Build and manage email campaigns within the marketing platform
  
• Maintain accurate product content across the website
  
• Organise and segment customer and prospect data
  
• Connect marketing activity across the email platform, website and customer database
  
• Review and update PDF datasheets and catalogues annually, ensuring specifications and product information remain current
  

Reporting and Planning (Approx. 5% of Time)

• Report monthly on campaign performance with clear, actionable recommendations
  
• Maintain a rolling content and campaign calendar
  
• Flag risks to delivery timelines early
  

Requirements

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing design, or digital marketing
  
• Advanced Adobe InDesign skills, with strong proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator, including professional print production, print-ready artwork, pre-press requirements, and image preparation for both print and digital outputs
  
• A portfolio showcasing professional brochures, catalogues, datasheets, or comparable print and marketing collateral
  
• Strong video editing and content production skills, including product demonstrations, explainer videos, screen recordings, captions, and content optimisation for web and social channels
  
• Practical B2B marketing experience, including campaign planning, execution, email marketing, and customer communications
  
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar platforms
  
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate complex information into clear, visually engaging content
  
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to collaborate directly with international stakeholders
  
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail, particularly when working with technical information, specifications, and product-related content
  
• A self-sufficient and proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of projects, make informed decisions independently, and drive tasks through to completion
  
• Commercially minded, with an understanding that marketing activities should support brand growth, customer engagement, and lead generation
  
• Experience in B2B, industrial, medical, technology, or technical product marketing is highly regarded
  
• Exposure to website management, ecommerce platforms, marketing automation, AI-assisted design and content creation, photography, motion graphics, animation, or the Zoho ecosystem is advantageous.
