Data Governance Analyst

Job Description Position Title: Data Governance Analyst (Officer) About the Role The Data Governance Analyst (Officer) is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the organization’s data governance framework. The role ensures that enterprise data remains accurate, secure, compliant, and consistently defined across systems and business units. The position supports the development and enforcement of data policies, data quality standards, metadata management, and governance processes to strengthen data integrity and usability across the organization. Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor and improve data quality, including accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across key business datasets
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation for critical data domains
• Coordinate with various business units to resolve data issues and ensure data consistency
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance governance efficiency
• Manage and monitor data access controls across the organization to ensure proper data security and compliance
• Support the maintenance and optimization of the company’s data warehouse environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or any related field
• At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar or related role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality management, and metadata concepts is an advantage

• Basic salary: Php 25,000 – 30,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
• Rice allowance: Php 1,500 per month
• Transportation allowance: Php 150 per working day
