Project Engineer - Licensed Geodetic or Civil Engineer - 1 Yr Experience

Qualifications:

• Licensed Geodetic/Civil Engineer
• Knowledge and experience using various surveying equipment (total station, GPS, level, etc.)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of surveying aides
• Ability to focus and deliver results under pressure and tight deadlines
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on site depending on project location
• Willing to travel frequently to different project sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the geodetic surveying team
• Conduct surveys to determine exact positions, measurements of points, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours, and other land surface features
• Collect and validate survey data using surveying equipment (total station, GPS, level, etc.)
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safekeeping of all surveying instruments
• Analyze and interpret collected data to ensure adherence to project specifications and geodetic standards
• Verify the accuracy of all mathematical calculations related to survey work
• Prepare survey plans, drawings, and technical documents for submission and project use
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding survey findings and project status
• Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and progress monitoring
• Identify and address potential survey issues before they affect the project timeline or quality
• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure timely delivery of survey outputs
• Ensure the surveying team complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
• Perform other related duties
