Qualification:
- Must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Must complete the Occupational Nursing / OH-nurse training from a DOLE-accredited or otherwise recognized organization.
- Additional certifications such as First Aid , Basic Life Support (BLS) , Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent is an advantage
Job Responsibilities:
An Occupational Nurse in the Philippines typically handles tasks such as:
- First aid and emergency care for workers in the workplace / establishment
- Health surveillance, occupational health assessments, monitoring environmental/work-related hazards.
- Promoting health programs: wellness, injury/illness prevention, health education for employees.
- Coordinating with management / HR for pre-employment medical exams (PEME), periodic exams, documentation of health and occupational incidents.
- Prepare annual report for compliance with DOLE and LGU.
