A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance it at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, prices, and services.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and courteously.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications:
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is an advantage.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
