GAD Specialist

Work Location: NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE PHILIPPINES (MANILA)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Provide technical assistance in the preparation, review and evaluation of the agency GAD Plan and Budget;
2. Provide technical assistance in the consolidation and preparation of GAD Accomplishment Report;
3. Lead the preparation of GAD-related financial and administrative reports (i.e Work and Financial Plan; Project Procurement Management Plan. etc.)
4. Lead the review and submission of GAD-related reports to PCW;
5. Act as focal in-charge of the agency’s Gender Mainstreaming Monitoring System (GMMS);
6. Lead the technical and administrative support in the implementation of GAD mainstreaming programs/activities/projects;
7. Participate in the development and enhancement of GAD PAPs, modules, Technical Assistance, GAD Tools and Guidelines;
8. Coordinates and participates in the conduct of GAD-Capacity Development programs, consultations, meetings, partnership building, policy advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation activities for NGAs, LGUs and NGRP/LGRP partners and stakeholders;
9. Provide assistance to the GFPS in building partnerships, networks for cooperation and institutional linkages with Government Organizations (GOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Local Government Units (LGUs), regional mechanisms and other partners;
10. Participates in the production of GAD-related Information, Education and Communications materials;
11. Facilitate and assist in the preparation of procurement-related needs for GAD-related projects, activities, programs (PAPs) and events, including canvassing, venue ocular and site visits;
12. Provides technical inputs in planning, implementation and assessment of the division’s overall strategic plans;
13. Lead the day-to-day operation of the GAD Office and act as agency Focal Person to PCW;
14. Provides secretariat and other assistance to NMP GFPS in relation to operational and project requirements;
15. Participates and represents the NMP-GFPS in PCW or in inter-agency committee meetings, conferences, consultations, and other partnership arrangements;
16. Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
