Driving : Operate delivery trucks to transport goods in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Loading and Unloading : Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring all products are securely packed and transported.
Route Planning : Plan delivery routes in the most efficient manner, taking into account delivery windows, traffic conditions, and customer needs.
Customer Interaction : Communicate directly with customers to confirm delivery details, provide updates, and handle any special requests or concerns.
Vehicle Maintenance : Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery truck, ensuring it is in good working condition and reporting any maintenance issues.
Paperwork : Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records, including delivery receipts, inspection reports, and inventory records.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the proper use of equipment, secure loading practices, and handling hazardous materials (if applicable).
Inventory Management : Assist in stock control and ensure all deliveries are completed according to schedule and in proper condition.
Customer Service : Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering products in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
Problem-Solving : Resolve any delivery-related issues such as delays, damaged goods, or route changes in a proactive and professional way.
