Our Operations team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Consumer and Corporate Banking & Trade Operations Head .

In this role you will lead the operational delivery of Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, and Trade Finance products, ensuring efficient transaction processing, regulatory compliance, risk management, and exceptional client service. You will drive operational excellence and support business growth by enhancing service delivery, controls, and end-to-end banking operations.

What the role will entail

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation across Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, and Trade Finance.
• Oversee end-to-end transaction processing, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of lending, trade finance, and banking operations.
• Strengthen governance, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management by ensuring adherence to internal policies, AML, KYC, BSP, and other applicable requirements.
• Enhance internal controls and drive continuous process improvements to optimize service quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with business units, support functions, regulators, and auditors to deliver seamless client service and address operational requirements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and talent development.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10 to 15 years of banking operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Strong expertise in Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, and Trade Finance operations, with comprehensive knowledge of trade finance products and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience managing trade finance solutions such as Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Supply Chain Financing, Export Financing, Factoring, Forfaiting, Trade Credit Insurance, and Structured Trade Finance.
• Deep understanding of banking regulations, operational risk management, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated success in leading transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client service.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in banking systems and digital platforms.
