- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing product information, answering queries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Support: Assist with product recommendations, promote store promotions, and help customers find the right items, contributing to sales targets.
- Stock Management: Organize and replenish shelves, ensure products are neatly displayed, and maintain stock levels throughout the store.
- Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process transactions accurately, and handle payments, including cash, credit, or digital transactions.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing by maintaining cleanliness in aisles, displays, and changing rooms.
- Returns and Exchanges: Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in accordance with store policies, ensuring a positive resolution.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (further education is a plus but not required).
- Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to engage with customers, offer assistance, and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with customers and team members, both in person and via phone/email.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash transactions, process payments, and give change accurately.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment, assisting colleagues and contributing to store goals.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure that products are correctly stocked, priced, and displayed, maintaining a neat and organized store environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, move merchandise, and occasionally lift light to moderate weight.
- Adaptability: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks, such as working at the checkout, restocking shelves, and assisting with promotions.
- Previous Retail Experience (preferred but not required): Experience in a similar role can be an advantage but is not mandatory.
