- An Automotive Parts Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling automotive parts and accessories to customers, including repair shops, dealerships, and individual consumers.
- identifying customer needs, providing technical advice, managing customer accounts, and meeting sales targets.
- need to be knowledgeable about automotive products, have excellent communication skills, and be capable of building strong customer relationships.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in automotive technology, sales, or business is a plus.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in automotive parts sales, or in a similar sales role in the automotive industry. Experience working at an auto parts store, dealership, or service shop is highly preferred.
- Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, components, and systems (e.g., engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.). Technical knowledge of vehicles and their parts is a significant advantage.
