Job Summary
The Delivery Helper assists the Delivery Driver in the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of printed materials and supplies to customers. The role includes loading and unloading products, verifying delivery documents, maintaining product quality during transport, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading printed materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure all items are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.
- Help verify delivery items against invoices, delivery receipts, and packing lists.
- Assist the driver with navigation and route coordination when needed.
- Obtain customer signatures on delivery receipts.
- Provide courteous and professional service to clients.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or delivery issues to the supervisor.
- Follow company safety policies and traffic regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Field-based work involving travel to customer locations.
- Frequent lifting of heavy boxes (up to 25–50 kg).
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- May require overtime during peak production periods.
Job Specification
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse, or similar role is an advantage.
- Experience handling printed materials is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
- Basic understanding of delivery documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Basic knowledge of road safety practices.
